Lamar Jackson has finished his 2024 regular season with 41 touchdown passes and only four interceptions. That’s a historic stat line. Never before had a player topped 40 touchdowns while throwing less than five interceptions. Prior to Jackson this year, the most touchdown passes ever thrown in a season with fewer than five interceptions was 37, set by Aaron Rodgers in 2021. Lamar Jackson finishes 2024 as NFL leader in both yards per pass and yards per run

Lamar Jackson accomplished something unprecedented in 2024: He led the NFL in both yards per pass and yards per run. Jackson had 4,172 on 474 passes, an average of 8.8 yards per pass. And Jackson had 915 yards on 139 runs, an average of 6.6 yards per run. Both of those were the league-leading averages. Lamar Jackson becomes first to reach 4,000 passing yards, 900 rushing yards in single season : Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has added to his case to win a third MVP award. Jackson has become the first quarterback in NFL history to record 4,000 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in the same season. He’s also the first QB to have 4,000, 900, and 40 touchdown passes in a single year. Jackson got to 4,000 passing yards and 40 touchdowns with his 12-yard touchdown to tight end Mark Andrews in the second quarter of Saturday’s matchup with the Browns. He got to 900 rushing yards with a 15-yard scramble late in the second quarter during a two-minute drill. It’s just the latest history Jackson has made in what’s been arguably the best season of his career.
